Terms of Service
Website Design & Hosting Service Agreement
Effective date: November 4, 2026. These terms apply to services accepted on or after this date. Your written project proposal controls any specifically agreed scope or pricing.
1. Agreement and acceptance
These terms govern website design, development, hosting, and maintenance services provided by SiteMadeRight. A project is accepted only after SiteMadeRight confirms its scope and price in writing. By approving a proposal and paying for services, you agree to the applicable terms presented before payment.
2. Introductory website creation package
The $199 one-time introductory offer is available to the first 20 qualifying customers whose starter projects are approved by SiteMadeRight. It includes up to five standard website pages, a mobile-responsive design, basic page titles and descriptions for search engines, integration of customer-provided content, initial deployment, and one consolidated round of reasonable revisions. Advanced integrations, ecommerce, booking systems, additional pages, and major redesigns require separate written quotes.
3. Project approval and payment
Please do not pay until SiteMadeRight approves your project and confirms the scope. The agreed creation fee is due before development begins. Additional work requires your approval and may incur additional fees.
4. Customer responsibilities
You must supply accurate information, timely feedback, and materials you have the rights to use. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of content you provide. Delays in content or approvals can affect the delivery schedule.
5. Revisions
The starter package includes one consolidated revision round. Corrections of SiteMadeRight errors are not counted as discretionary revisions. New functionality or substantial scope changes may be separately quoted.
6. Hosting and maintenance
Hosting and maintenance are separate from the website creation fee and cost $35 per month for eligible websites. The plan includes supported SSL, routine technical maintenance, basic hosting troubleshooting, and up to two minor content updates per billing month. Unused updates do not roll over. New pages, redesigns, advanced development, and third-party fees are excluded unless agreed in writing.
7. Subscription billing
Hosting billing begins when you complete the separate $35 monthly subscription checkout after receiving launch instructions. The first charge is taken at checkout and subsequent charges recur monthly until canceled. The subscription does not start automatically merely because you paid the website creation fee.
8. Ownership and licensing
Once the website creation fee is paid in full, you own your provided content and original custom work created specifically for your project, subject to third-party licenses. SiteMadeRight retains ownership of pre-existing templates, tools, and reusable components, and grants a perpetual license to use components incorporated into your paid website, subject to applicable licenses.
9. Domains and third-party services
Domain registration and renewals are separate unless a proposal states otherwise. Customers are encouraged to register domains in their own names. Hosting, email, payments, and other services may depend on third-party providers; outages and restrictions beyond SiteMadeRight’s control may affect availability.
10. Availability and acceptable use
SiteMadeRight makes commercially reasonable efforts to maintain availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. You may not use the services for illegal, fraudulent, infringing, or malicious activities. We may take proportionate steps to address serious security threats or violations.
11. Liability and applicable law
To the extent permitted by law, SiteMadeRight is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Any contractual limit on liability applies only to the extent enforceable under applicable law. Georgia law governs this agreement, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
