Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Website creation refunds

Before development begins, you may cancel and request a full refund of the website creation fee. Once development begins, you may cancel and receive a partial refund reflecting the documented work already completed. After completion and your approval, the creation fee is generally nonrefundable, except where required by law or where SiteMadeRight materially fails to provide agreed services.

2. Monthly hosting cancellation

You may cancel the $35 monthly hosting subscription at any time by emailing support@sitemaderight.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless you request earlier termination or a suspension is justified under the agreement, hosting continues until the end of the current paid billing period. Payments for the current period are generally nonrefundable except where required by law or for a material failure to provide contracted services.

3. Website files and transfer

After cancellation, you may request transferable copies of customer-owned website files. SiteMadeRight will provide reasonably available files in a commonly usable format within 15 business days of verifying the request, subject to third-party licenses. You are responsible for arranging alternative hosting. Files may be removed from SiteMadeRight-managed hosting 30 days after hosting ends; request a copy before that deadline.

4. Domain registrations

Domain registration and renewal fees are generally nonrefundable after processing, subject to registrar policies and applicable law. You remain responsible for domain renewal and transfer arrangements.

5. How to request a refund or cancellation

Email support@sitemaderight.com with your name, website address (if applicable), and request details. We aim to acknowledge requests within three business days. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method when possible; processing times vary by payment provider.
